The New Hampshire Board of Medicine will not appeal a court decision thatblocked a disciplinary case over comments made by Rochester, N.H., physicianTerry Bennett to patients in his private practice.

As I posted before (Bedside manner in the Live Free or Die state), the guy may (or may not) be a jerk, but that shouldn't be enough to drive him out of practice. If he is good technically I might still select him. Patients need to make tradeoffs among demeanor, technical competence, convenience and so on. Right now it's hard to get the information to choose in a meaningful way.
